What is MIRA?
We are a Latino resource center located in Richfield Minnesota. This grassroots organization was founded to meet the needs of an ever growing Hispanic, low-income population who require assistance in accessing various services in their community (school, legal assistance,
medical care, etc.). MIRA is governed by a board of directors representing public and private sectors within its service communities.
What We Do
MIRA offers multiple services for children and their families to promote their overall well being.Our services include, but are not limited to English as a Second Language (ESL),computer training,
legal assistance and referral, childcare assistance and overall information and referral services.
MIRA has been an integral part of the growing Latino community in South Hennepin County,
promoting their incorporation at our multicultural community. Since our inception we have served
over 3,500 people, including adults and children, 90% of which are low-income Latino families
with an increasing number of people from other ethnic backgrounds (Somali, Hmong and African)
MIRA serves and welcomes any individual currently residing in South Hennepin County (MN),
including the cities of Richfield, Edina, Eden Prairie, Bloomington and South Minneapolis.
